This is SUDNLY™
Four years building the house.
Now the sound rises.
Shannon Evette.
Marvin Winans Jr.
Christian King.
Sometimes help arrives as a person. Sometimes it arrives as an unexpected connection. Three roads meet, gifts recognize one another, and what God has been forming separately begins to sound together.
SUDNLY™ is an offering of Solace Sound, executive produced by visionary pioneer Shannon Evette, in collaboration with the seasoned legacy and music mantle of Marvin Winans Jr. and the breakout sound of Christian King.
For four years, Solace Sound has been developing a catalog rooted in biblical meditation, Ruach, the Psalms, Spirit Music, and inner healing. Sound for stillness. Sound for prayer. Sound that calls us back to childlike joy. The OVERFLOW project brings that work into a new expression: songs born from prayer and purpose, made to move with you. OVERFLOW is our first full-scale album for this new expression. Early supporters receive the title sound first, with the complete album included on 10/24.
Our first full-scale album for the dance floor, the drive, and the airwaves.
The people behind the sound
Shannon Evette
Prophetic Pioneer · Preacher · Poet · Singer · Producer
Shannon Evette is a prophetic pioneer, preacher, poet, singer, and producer. An ordained minister of the gospel and serial entrepreneur, she is the founder of Solace Sound in Palm Springs, California. Her thirty years of prophetic, deliverance, and inner healing ministry carry testimonies of signs and wonders, blind eyes opening, and the sick receiving healing through Jesus Christ.
She carries an apostolic mandate to confront stagnation, disrupt outdated systems, and bring creativity and enterprise under the lordship of Christ. That calling shapes Solace Sound: a modern Motown for artists of faith to release their sound without compromising their soul.
Her conviction is rooted in Scripture: God spoke creation into being, and a sound filled the house at Pentecost. Music is a gift from the Creator, made to be shared, celebrated, and amplified for worship, joy, and harmony. She challenges systems that profit from sacred gifts while leaving artists in pain, building a house that honors both the sound and the soul entrusted to carry it.
Her work reaches more than 100,000 people online, with over 3 million views on her YouTube channel, Solace with Shannon Evette. She is the author of Worthy, the voice behind Meditate with Me, and the visionary, executive producer, and artist behind SUDNLY™’s OVERFLOW.
The story behind the sound
I didn't go looking for a sound. I was tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. After years of preaching and serving and pouring myself out for other people, there wasn't much left of me to pour, and when I finally got quiet enough to be honest, God told me to sit in silence until I heard a sound.
So I sat. And a sound came.
I have been in deliverance ministry for thirty years, and I have laid hands on a great many people. What I wasn't prepared for was watching people get free while I simply played that sound, with nobody touching them at all. Shoulders dropped, tears came, heaviness left the room, and I understood that God had been moving through sound long before I noticed.
That sound became Solace. And then it did something I never would have planned. It found two men walking roads nothing like mine: a pastor carrying one of gospel music's great family legacies, and a young man whose own deliverance still burns in him. Three separate ministries, three separate missions. We never set out to become anything together. Suddenly, we heard the same sound.
We kept recording, and the room kept filling, until there wasn't a better word for what we were holding than the one we gave it.
OVERFLOW.
Marvin Winans Jr.
Music Legacy · Music Mantle
Marvin Winans Jr. carries forward one of gospel music's most celebrated family legacies, a heritage of music and ministry spanning four generations. He is a celebrated producer, singer and pastor, and the founder of Perfecting Home Church, with congregations in Culver City and North Hollywood, California. A happily married father of four, he has a deep heart for teaching and a gift for wisdom that grounds people and helps them grow. In SUDNLY™, he brings the weight of legacy and the clarity of a shepherd.
Christian King
New Voice · Breakout Sound
Christian King is a new voice with an old fire, bringing the energy and edge of hip-hop into sound that heals. His music comes from lived experience; he sings and raps like a man who knows what it means to be set free. He is the author of SUDNLY™ Delivered!, his own story of deliverance, and he carries that testimony into every verse. In SUDNLY™, he brings the hunger, the honesty and the sound of what's next.
Why receive it directly?
Back the artists.
Build the sound.
We’re building a modern Motown for artists of faith. A holistic sound house where artists can release their sound without compromising their soul.
The old system too often rewards attention while leaving artists struggling to sustain the work. Solace Sound is building a different way: music, story, and ministry with the artist’s wellbeing at the center.
Our foundation includes four years of biblical meditation, breath, Psalms, and Spirit Music, created with multi-platinum and diamond-level producers whose work has reached millions around the world. SUDNLY™ is the rise of that house.
Our plan for the complete album is 120 days of direct release before streaming. Your pre-order honors the prayer, time, creative labor, anointing, and production behind the music. It includes the full album and the OVERFLOW early-supporter bundle. Your support reaches the people behind the sound and helps build a creative community where the artist and the art are honored.
